To do this follow these simple steps:

On the Clarity web platform:

1. Select the wallet icon and ensure that your ZAR account has been selected on the top right.

2. Select your Private Bank account, input the amount and then select done. The funds will instantly reflect in your account.

3. Ensure your ZAR account is still selected. Select the wallet icon and then select the "Transfer" tab. To convert ZAR to USD select the to account as one of the USD accounts.

4. Input the amount you would like to convert from ZAR to USD and accept the declaration. In this declaration you are declaring that you will be within your single discretionary allowance (SDA) after completing this transaction. The rate displayed on the screen is inclusive of fees for the forex conversion. The FX conversion is instant and the USD amount will reflect in your USD account.

5. Select your USD account and then search for the offshore instrument you would like to trade.

6. Select trade, input the details in the order screen and submit the order.
