For iOS Users (Apple App Store)
Open the App Store: On your device, open the App Store app.
Go to Your Account: Tap on your profile icon at the top right corner of the screen.
Find the App: Scroll down to the "Available Updates" section. If an update is available for your app, it will appear here. If you don't see the app, pull down this screen to refresh the list.
Update the App: Tap the "Update" button next to your app's name. If you wish to update all available apps, tap "Update All."
Enter Your Password if Prompted: Depending on your settings, you might be asked to enter your Apple ID password or use Face ID or Touch ID.
Wait for the Update to Complete: The app will download and install the latest version automatically.
For Android Users (Google Play Store)
Open Google Play Store: Locate and open the Google Play Store app on your device.
Access the Menu: Tap on the three horizontal lines (menu icon) at the top left corner of the screen.
Go to "My apps & games": Select "My apps & games" from the menu.
Find the App: Look for your app in the "Updates" tab. If an update is available, it will be listed here. If you don't see your app, swipe down on the screen to refresh the list.
Update the App: Tap the "Update" button next to your app's name. If you prefer, you can update all apps at once by tapping "Update All."
Wait for the Update to Complete: Your app will download and update to the latest version automatically.
General Tips
Wi-Fi Connection: It's recommended to update apps over a Wi-Fi connection to avoid using your mobile data allowance.
Automatic Updates: You can enable automatic updates for all apps in your device settings. This way, your apps will update automatically whenever updates are available.
Checking for Updates Manually: If you're expecting an update and it's not appearing, manually refreshing the update list in the App Store or Google Play Store may help.
