How are the Account and Portfolio metrics calculated?

The metrics displayed in your Portfolio view are the sum of your underlying accounts.

For each of your accounts, the metrics are as follows:

Account Balance = Cash you have on the platform (Deposits less any Withdrawals) + Realised Profit and Loss (“PnL”). It includes cash in Savings.

(Another way of looking at it is Opening exposure on trades + Available Funds + Realised

Profit and Loss + Savings).

Available Funds = Balance - Used margin (It does not include cash in your Savings account).

Account Equity = Account Balance + Unrealised Profit and Loss

Portfolio Balance is the sum of all your account balances (converted at the applicable

exchange rates).

Portfolio Value is the sum of all your account equity (converted at the applicable exchange

rates).

Available to Invest is the sum of all your account available funds (converted at the

applicable exchange rates)
