Clarity offers both a USD and ZAR savings product. This gives you even more flexibility when it comes to managing your finances and reaching your financial goals. You can earn up to 6.75% interest on your ZAR account and up to 3% interest on your USD account.
The savings accounts are automatically opened for you, so you can start saving right away!
Starting to save:
On the web
To save in your ZAR Overnight account, ensure you are in your ZAR account on the top right of the screen. .
To save in your USD Overnight account, ensure you are in your USD account on the top right of the screen.
Select the Savings tab on the top of the page.
Input the amount you would like to transfer from your ZAR or USD account and click submit.
On the app
Select the "Accounts" tab at the bottom of the screen.
To save in your ZAR Overnight account, ensure you are in your ZAR account at the top of the screen.
To save in your USD Overnight account, ensure you are in your USD account at the top of the screen.
Select the "Savings" tab, and then select "Start Saving".
Select the product and input the amount you want to add to your savings account.
The minimum amount to save on the ZAR Savings account is R27 and on the USD Savings account is $60.
Adding to you savings account:
If you already have funds in your savings account, but want to add more:
On the web:
Select the Savings tab on the top of the page.
Input the amount you would like to transfer from your ZAR or USD account and click submit.
On the app:
Select the savings account you want to add to.
Swipe to the left over the amount already in the account - you will see an option to "Edit" or "Close" appear. Select "Edit" and add the amount you want to save.
