Verifying your banking details
To process a withdrawal, you will first need to provide your banking details. This must be an account in your own name.
The required information includes:
First Name and Surname: As it appears on your bank account.
Bank Name: Specify the name of your bank.
Universal Branch Code: It is important to use the universal branch code for your bank.
Account Type: Indicate the type of account you are withdrawing to (e.g., Savings, Current).
Account Number: Provide your complete bank account number.
Once you have added these details, you will not be required to add them again for future withdrawals.
What if my beneficiary details are not approved?
If you have received an email informing you that your beneficiary details have not been approved, worry not, because you can easily input your details again on the platform for verification.
Please ensure that you follow these guidelines:
Only valid S.A bank account numbers can be used
The bank account must be in your name (no company or joint accounts)
No credit cards or debit cards
Your full name and Surname must be added
The universal branch code for your bank should be used, please refer to the below as an example:
Absa Bank - 632 005
Capitec Bank - 470 010
FNB - 250 655
Investec Bank - 580 105
Nedbank - 198 765
Standard Bank - 051 001
Can I change my beneficiary details?
Yes! You can change your Clarity beneficiary details whenever you need to.
Simply click on the "Edit" option on the withdrawals page to update your banking information.
However, you may still only change the details to an account in your own name. Clarity will not approve an account that is not in your name.
How long will it take for the funds to clear in my bank account
After you have placed your withdrawal request, the funds should reflect in your bank account in 24 to 48 hours.
