Hard Refresh on Windows

For Windows users, the process of doing a hard refresh varies slightly depending on the web browser you're using. Here are the steps for the most popular browsers:

  1. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox:

    • Press and hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard.

    • While holding the "Ctrl" key, press the "F5" key. Alternatively, you can hold the "Ctrl" key and click the refresh button in your browser's address bar.

  2. Internet Explorer:

    • Press and hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard.

    • While holding the "Ctrl" key, press the "F5" key. Alternatively, you can hold the "Ctrl" key and click the refresh button in your browser's address bar or press "Ctrl" + "R" on your keyboard.

For Mac users, the hard refresh process is similar to Windows but uses different keyboard shortcuts. Here are the steps for the most popular browsers:

  2. Safari:

    • Press and hold the "Option" key (also called "Alt") on your keyboard.

    • While holding the "Option" key, click the refresh button in your browser's address bar. Alternatively, you can press "Cmd" + "Option" + "R" on your keyboard.
