How do I trade offshore?

To trade offshore you will need to trade from your USD accounts on the Clarity platform.

Currently we support transfers from ZAR to USD. You can't deposit USD directly into your Clarity USD account. To fund your USD account, you need to first fund your Clarity ZAR account, and then transfer the ZAR from you ZAR account to your USD account.

See how to fund your USD account here.

On the web:

Simply select your USD account from the account drop down.

Once this account has been selected you can now search for offshore instruments.

Select the instrument and then select "Trade".

Input the amount you would like to trade and submit. If you don't have enough funds in your USD account you can select the wallet icon in the menu to transfer funds into the account.

On the app

Select "Transact" on the bottom of the screen.

Make sure you are in your USD account.

Search for the share you would like to trade.

Select the share, and select "Buy".

Input the amount your want to invest.
